Weird, benign thoughts

As I was sitting here thinking about the MAC x Basquiat collection, another thought popped into my head. Does anyone remember gloss.com?

Early in my MAC addicton days, this site was my favorite place to shop! They had MAC and Bobbi Brown items on the same site and they used to offer expedited shipping at what I thought was a fair price or even sometimes free and don't get me started on the samples. My goodness, those were the days!

I used to shop online for MAC because we didn't have a store at the time. Just counters at Macy's or Dillard's. Sometimes visiting seemed like a chore depending on who was working that day. So when I didn't feel like going through the motions of fake pleasantries at my local counter, online order it was.

But now it just seems so frantic with rushing to push your order through before an item sells out. I miss the early two thousands. I used to think the 90's were the best, but upon further reflection, I think an honorable mention should go to the early 2000's.
