A Quiet Place

Sitting here watching a movie with the dog and the old man. The pick? A Quiet Place: Day One. We really enjoyed the first two, as stupid as some parts were, they were fairly easy to overlook.

Needless to say, the man and I were excited. A bit surprised it wasn't immediately available on Netflix like the first two. But this was available for streaming rather quickly. So that was nice.

Regardless, it was nice to see Eddie (Joseph Quinn) and the beautiful Lupita Nyong'o in this prequel. No spoilers here, but the story wasn't bad.

Just made us think and discuss how as qualified to survive for a bit as we think we are, if this were to really occur, our initial survival would really depend on luck. Then if we could manage to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we'd be able to implement more of our survival skills. But how deeply frightening it would be to not have the ability to use or access the everyday conveniences that we've grown so accustomed to. I think we'd finally be thin for sure! I have to remain the eternal optimist and find the silver lining in every situation.
